Ohio safety Koy Beasley is down to four programs with Rutgers football in the mix for the talented athlete.
Beasley, on Saturday afternoon, posted a final four that included Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Purdue and Wisconsin.
A four-star in the 247Sports Composite, Beasley is a standout defensive back at LaSalle (Cincinnati, OH) and a member of the 2024 recruiting class. He is ranked the No. 216 player in the nation in the composite index.
At 6-foot and 180 pounds, Beasley brings some good size to the equation. He also runs track in the spring.
Beasley announced that he will be taking an official visit to Purdue starting on the weekend of June 23. He plans to announce his commitment on June 28.
Historically, Rutgers has had success in landing top-tier defensive backs and developing them for the NFL. Head coach Greg Schiano can count success stories such as Duron Harmon, Devin McCourty, Jason McCourty and Logan Ryan among Rutgers defensive backs who went on to have long, storied careers in the NFL.

Rutgers football currently has eight commitments in the class of 2024. Two defensive players have given a verbal so far, led by three-star linebacker Sam Piloffrom Wisconsin and New Jersey defensive lineman Judah Pruitt.
