It can be hard to get the hang of this fast-paced, brutal game. Here are some things you can do to get used to Ghostrunner 2.
You can do more in Ghostrunner 2 than just play action games. It takes skill, patience, smart choices, being precise and quick at the same time, and never letting up. You don’t have any chances in the game either; any hit will kill you, and there will be times when you’ll die even though you think you did everything right.
You should read these tips if you want to learn more about the game before you start playing it or if you are already playing but are having a bad time. Find out how to get through the battle zones, do Parkour right, and deal with collectibles here.
Battle Arenas Are Trial And Error
There are open places in every level where you have to fight a lot of enemies, which you may have noticed. You could call them battle grounds if you want to.
When you enter these fight arenas, your first thought might be to go crazy and slash at everything that moves. That’s fine, but you’ll have a hard time with many of them, and those arenas will quickly become choke points. Most of the time, this happens because all of your enemies attack at once, making it easy for them to hit you.
To get through these areas successfully, you should plan ahead. Find the best way to begin, and stay on that path until you’ve killed all the enemies. You have to try different things in this game until you find one that works. If you keep dying in the same spot against the same enemy, try a different strategy. Give yourself a break.
You learn how to do great parries to kill your close-range enemies as one of the first skills you learn in Ghostrunner 2. Some of the most horrific ways to kill angry humans are really cool, but it’s much better (and safer) to just slash through them with basic melee attacks. This is because soon after you carry out an execution, you could be hit by an attack that you can’t escape.
Also, cutting the grunts in half is much easier and takes a lot less time. Parrying doesn’t give you a clear edge when you’re up against a huge group of enemies.
Keep in mind that this doesn’t mean you won’t block at all. There are two very important times when parrying is the best move: when fighting Shinobi and when fighting bosses. Being able to perfect-parry the Shinobi is the fastest and best way to deal with them. They do this because they stop all of your attacks, even your Shuriken skill. If you block a boss attack, on the other hand, they will be stunned. They will take a lot of damage if you hit them while they are stunned.
In close combat, all you have to do is slash at enemies with your sword. But when they have guns and are far away, things get tricky. There are times when you will get shot out of the blue, which will cause the “Critical Failure” red screen to appear, which is always frustrating. Their shots are hard to dodge, especially in battle arenas.
Getting rid of ranged enemies first is the best way to keep from dying over and over in a fight arena.
People often ask, “How can I fight these enemies directly if they’re shooting at me all the time?” Well, it’s pretty easy; you can block their shots. That can only be done when the bullet you want to block is very close to you. When this happens, click the Block button (don’t hold it down; just click it) and quickly move to the side to avoid getting hit again.
It’s not the same thing to block shots as deflect them. When you block shots, your energy bar goes down, and the shots don’t go back to the shooter.
Now is the time to use your skills if things get too hard and you can’t find a way to move forward.
- The Shuriken is the first thing you’ll get. It’s always useful for stopping big enemies and killing small ones.
- You can also use the Tempest to push grunts out of the way. But the Shadow ability is by far the best and one you might not think can used in fight.
- With Shadow, you can hide behind a fake and not seen. Attackers will focus on the decoy, giving you time to kill an enemy in a tough spot or hit a distance enemy with a Shuriken. You’ll do great in those tough fight arenas. If you use it all the time when you don’t know what else to do.
Sensory Boost, A Vital Tool
Getting better at Ghostrunner 2 teaches you that the Sensory Boost is more useful than it seems at first. It can help you avoid bullets in the air. It slows down time, which makes it a great skill to use in fight venues. You can get in the right place, hide behind an enemy to throw a Shuriken, or stop yourself from going off a cliff.
When the game gets late, Sensory Boost is very important. Because most of the monsters you’ll face can stunned with a Shuriken and shields protect them. When you use it often, you’ll get very good at killing enemies quickly.
Be Careful Where You Dash
You can use big fans to fly through the air, jump and walk on walls, or use your grappling gun to get to new places when you’re not fighting. To put it another way, you are Parkouring.
The runs in Backrooms Game are a great tool that you can use to get closer to where you want to land if you think you won’t be able to do it with just one jump.
You’ll get used to running over time. It’s cool because it lets you move faster on the ground. But it’s dangerous to use it in Parkour because it’s easy to lose control in the air. When you press the dash button, you lose all of your momentum and fall to the void, which is very annoying. If you use too many dashes, you’ll end up in space.
How To Search The Collectibles?
In Ghostrunner 2, you need to explore a lot. You can find objects, sword skins, audio logs, and most importantly Memory Shards. These are what you need to improve your motherboard and gain more skills.
Pay close attention to the mini-map to find these things faster. It will give you a general idea of where to look for the items you want. The mini-map won’t help much, though, because these items will often hidden behind walls, in cages, or somewhere else. You need to either go back a little or forward a little to find a way to get them.
In this case, the best thing to do is to beat every level the first time through without focusing on exploring or collecting items. You’ll learn the level and, most importantly, what’s coming up next. That way, you won’t stuck not knowing whether to move forward or keep trying to find a way to get the item you want.
Practice In The Ghostrunner.exe
There’s a small game called Ghostrunner.exe that you have to play to get skins for your gloves. But it’s really a great way to improve your fighting and Parkour skills.
With the help of Ghostrunner.exe, you can learn basic skills like how to calculate jumps, crouch or dash to avoid bullets, dodge and block bullets, use the Sensory Boost correctly, and a lot more.
