In Pokemon GO, players have to choose which items to keep and which ones to get rid of in order to clear out their inventory.
In Pokémon GO, players can quickly run out of space for items if they keep opening Gifts or spinning PokeStops/Gyms. Their items will have to be thrown away to make room if they don’t have enough Coins to grow the storage. Trainers may not know what to keep and what to get rid of with all the Potions, Poke Balls, and Berries.
Items cannot be sold in Pokémon GO like they can in the main games, which is unfortunate. Because of this, trainers will need to be picky and careful when they clear out their storage. Also, they shouldn’t get rid of the less rare items until they start collecting the “stronger” versions, like Potions and Hyper Potions.
Discard: Potions

Trainers’ first Pokemon GO item will be Potions, which they can use to heal their Pokemon. These drinks only heal 20HP and are the weakest in the game. Because of this, players shouldn’t throw them away until they hit level 10 or higher and can use Super Potions, which heal for 60HP.
PokeStop/Gym Discs often give out potions as prizes. Once players start getting Super, Hyper, and Max Potions, they can easily take up a lot of room in their bag. 20HP won’t help a Pokemon in the red/orange color that has a high CP, though. If some players still want to keep Potions for themselves, save them for healing Pokemon that only need a little HP back.

At level 15, Pokemon GO players can get Hyper Potions. At level 25, they can get Max Potions. The Max Potion heals you completely, while the Hyper Potion only heals 200HP. When these types can be earned, players will get them as gifts for spinning PokeStops.
Additionally, beating Team GO Rocket Leaders gives you Hyper Potions, and the only Potions you can buy from the in-game store are Max Potions. It’s best to never throw these away because they might be the best items in Pokémon GO for restoring HP. If you need to make room, you should get rid of Potions or Super Potions instead.

Incense is something that can be used to draw Pokemon. A Pokemon will appear as long as players are moving around. When you find these in the wild, they will be surrounded by a purple mist (Incense) or a blue mist (Daily Incense).
In general, incense burns for an hour, but during events, it goes orange and can burn for much longer, like two hours. Then there’s Daily Incense, which lasts for 15 minutes and is free for the first time a player gets it.Some wild Pokemon are dangerous, and Incense only works when GO players are moving. This makes them one of the safer items to get rid of. There are, however, some Special Research Tasks that need Incense, so always check before throwing them away.
Keep: Stardust & Lucky Eggs

When you play Pokémon GO, you can gain experience, but your trainer’s level goes up instead of the Pokemon’s. Players will get different rewards every time they hit a certain goal. There are even parts of the game that you can’t use until you reach a certain level, like “nominating” a PokeStop (level 37). If you use a Lucky Egg, you’ll get twice as much experience for 30 minutes.
Stardust is a resource that can used to learn new moves, purify, Power Up, and trade. Trainers can get more Stardust by catching more Pokemon, but it’s very easy to use it all up quickly. A Stardust works the same way as a Lucky Egg, but it doubles your Stardust count instead of your experience.
For some research jobs, you can get Lucky Eggs and Stardust as bonus items. Trainees may not want to discard either of them depending on how quickly they want to level up or improve their Pokemon.

There are three main types of Berries that trainers can find: Razz Berries, Pinap Berries, and Nanab Berries. When you use each one on a Pokemon before throwing a Poke Ball, it changes how it acts.
- If you give a Pokemon Razz Berries, it will be “friendlier” and easier to catch.
- Pinap Berries give you twice as much candy when you catch them.
- You can keep the Pokemon from “fighting back” against the Poke Ball or hopping out of the way by giving it Nanab Berries.
Berries are a very popular reward for spinning PokeStops and Field Research Tasks. People should be able to get plenty of Razz, Pinap, and Nanab Berries as long as they are near PokeStops or doing Field Research. A Great Buddy Pokemon can also give them to you as a gift, or you can get them from Friend Gifts.

The least common Berries in Flappy Bird, on the other hand, are the Golden Razz and Silver Pinap. Both of them work the same way as their Razz Berry and Pinap Berry cousins, but their effects are twice as strong. Not only do Silver Pinap Berries double Candy, but they also make it easy to catch. They are like a Razz Berry and a Pinap Berry combined into one.
These can’t found by spinning PokeStops or doing Field Research. Instead, they are sometimes given as prizes for Timed or Special Research. Raid wins are the best way to get them, especially Golden Razz Berries. Players should only use them when they are trying to catch a Legendary Pokemon from Giovanni or a Raid because they are so rare.
Discard: Lure Modules

Pokemon will come to a PokeStop if it has a lure module. Because of this, if a trainer is in an area with lots of PokeStops, they might not need to set up a Lure Module because someone else will probably do it first. The normal pink Lure Modules can thrown away, but players might want to keep the other types.
Some Pokemon can grow with the help of different types of Lure Modules, like the Magnetic Lure Module and the Mossy Lure Module. They will also bring in Pokemon that are of the same “Type” as the Module (for example, the Magnetic Lure Module will bring in more Steel-type Pokemon). Instead, these should saved for when Pokemon GO players need to grow a Pokemon like Magneton or Eevee.
Keep: Poffins

Poffins are even more special than Golden Razz Berries and Silver Pinap Berries. You can’t use these in battle, but you can feed them to your Buddy Pokemon. This will double the number of Hearts you get from Buddy Activities and make the Buddy Pokemon stay out of the Poke Ball for twice as long (6 hours instead of 3 hours). The only time you can find them for free is when you do Field Research and check PokeStops. Other than that, they don’t show up very often.
Poffins cost 100 PokeCoins in the game’s Shop. Save them for Ultra Buddy Tier Buddy Pokemon. It is best for players to use them when they are going to be on Pokémon GO for more than 4 hours because they make leveling up Pokémon faster than Berries.

People in Team GO will see Rocket Balloons following them around the map, but Rocket Grunts might show up at PokeStops. If a player beats them in a fight, they can get one of their Shadow Pokemon. A thing called a “Mystery Component” will also given to them. It will take 6 Mystery Components to make a Rocket Radar when they are all put together. Then, this item used to find Cliff, Arlo, or Sierra, who are the Team GO Rocket Leaders.
If players are trying to finish quests that require them to beat the Rocket Leaders, they shouldn’t throw away Mysterious Components. You can get rid of one or two, though, if they’re taking up space. As was already said, there are Team GO Rocket Grunts everywhere. It’s simple to get a Rocket Radar: just fight Team GO Rocket whenever they show up on the map.
Keep: Ultra Balls

You can get different kinds of Poke Balls at PokeStops and Gyms. The Ultra Ball is the best. New players can’t use them because this has a higher catch rate than a Great Ball. When a player reaches level 20, they can use Ultra Balls. Like the Great Ball, you can’t buy them from the in-game shop. However, they are sometimes sold in bulk as a “Limited Time Only!” box.
The one Poke Ball that users won’t want to throw away is an Ultra Ball. Poke Balls are important for getting more Pokemon and growing up. So it’s not a good idea to get rid of them. If it comes to the Poke Ball, Ultra Ball vs. Great Ball, players will want to keep the Ultra Ball. They work best on rare Pokemon or Pokemon with a lot of Combat Power (CP).
